I’m thinking of buying this lens but im not sure if it will fit on my camera. I have a fujifilm finepix s1800. Also, do i need anything else to attach it on to the camera, if so a link would be good? this is the lens…

No. And those aren’t lenses, they’re junk filters that try to act like lenses.

Help on a fisheye lens?

I’m going to buy that one.
Is it a bad or a good one?

This is not an actual Fisheye. It distorts your actual photography to simulate fisheye. Actual Fisheyes will cost you much more and actually replace your lens.

Fisheye Lens For Pentax K1000

Why I love Hipstamatic

Let me start by saying I don’t hate Instagram , I’m just not a fan…this post is why I love Hipstamatic (for the iPhone) and use it constantly. This post also isn’t about the sharing community that is behind Instagram (which is pretty impressive)…anything that inspires people to take more photos is awesome in my book.

But first, a little background.

I became a photographer while in high school, shooting film. Most often it was a Pentax K1000 like so many others started with:

how do you attach a lens to a nikon d40?

i bought a Opteka High Definition² .35x Ultra Wide Angle Fisheye lens off of ebay for my nikon d40, and i don’t know how to attach it ): how do i do it?

The Opteka .35mm fish eye is an attachment lens. This means that it doesn’t go directly onto the camera body, but you have to screw it onto the front of your existing lens.

Nikon Fisheye-Nikkor 16Mm

Heard anything good about any fisheye?

I’m looking into buying a nice fisheye (or really nice cap that gives a real effect) for some sports shots, mostly skating and BMX.

Currently, I have no idea where to look.

fisheye and bmxing? a wee bit of a cliche.

Why not get a nice mid tele instead and move further back, make the sportsperson leap out of the photo thanks to the soft fore and background?

fhotoace
The 16 mm is a fisheye designed for 35 mm and the D3 or D700 DSLR

The fisheye designed for all the other DSLR’s Nikon make is the 10.5 mm DX lens

All Fisheye lenses made by Nikon are excellent …
